False friends parecem nice, but they are not your friends. Conheça mais palavrinhas que se parecem com o Portuguese, mas cujo significado é totally different:

LARGE

(Pronunciation: LÁR-dj)

Large is equivalent to big, mas não se refere à largura.

EXQUISITE

(Pronunciation: éks-QWÍ-zit)

Exquisite is equivalent to very beautiful or elegant.

TERRIFIC

(Pronunciation: te-RÍ-fic)

      Terrific is equivalent to fantastic.
