In English there are two families de Personal Pronouns: os Subject pronouns e os Object pronouns.
(Note que os pronouns YOU and IT continuam na mesma forma, porém todos os outros mudam):
Subject Pronouns I YOU HE SHE IT WE THEY | Object Pronouns ME YOU HIM HER IT US THEM |
Os Subject Pronouns vêm sempre antes do verb e os Object Pronouns, depois do verb:
Example 1:
I want to see Paul.
Paul wants to see me.
Example 2 (tanto para you singular quanto para you plural):
You want to see Paul.
Paul wants to see You.
Example 3:
He wants to see Paul.
Paul wants to see him.
Example 4:
She wants to see Paul.
Paul wants to see her.
Example 5:
It wants to see Paul.
Paul wants to see it.
Example 6:
We want to see Paul.
Paul wants to see us.
Example 7:
They want to see Paul.
Paul wants to see them.
