A- A A+

Você sabia que, in English, as moedas têm apelidos?

The penny is made of zinc and copper. Abraham Lincoln (16th president dos USA) ilustra um dos lados; the Lincoln Memorial ilustra the other.

The nickel is made of nickel and copper. Ele é bigger than the penny.

Thomas Jefferson (3rd president of the USA) ilustra um dos lados; Monticello (the house que ele projected and built aos 26 years old) ilustra the other.

The dime is made of nickel and copper, too. It is smaller than the penny and the nickel.

Franklin D. Roosevelt (the 32nd president of the USA) ilustra um dos lados; a torch ilustra the other.

Na próxima Monday você conhecerá outras coins que ganharam apelidos bem cute. Remember to read it!
