False friends são tão similar com words em Portuguese que você é capaz de jurar que eles têm o mesmo meaning. Puro engano! Pay attention to the difference:

*Fabric não significa ‘fábrica’, mas sim ‘textile‘.

Example: ”This fabric is very delicate.”

*Brave não significa ‘bravo’, mas sim ‘courageous‘.

Example: ”Ela é tão brave que pula de parachute every weekend.”

*Assist não significa ‘assistir’, mas sim ‘help‘.

Example: ” The teacher assisted the students in the computer lab.”
