A- A A+

      Aussies are people from Straya. (What?! Do you mean Australia? Ooooh, yes, now I understand.)

      Aussies are not normal people, because they love to abbreviate words. Let’s see some examples:

      Arvo = Afternoon (Pronunciation: Ár-vou)
E.g.: I can’t go, I have classes this arvo.

      Cuppa = cup of tea (Pronunciation: -paa)
E.g.: Do you want a cuppa?

      Chrissy = Christmas (Pronunciation: KRI-ssiii)
E.g.: On Chrissy my family has a special dinner.
