One night, a video game designer called Jaakko Iisalo was home alone. He tried to relax, but he was very worried. The company where he worked was totally out of money.
To solve this problem, the designers tried to develop a game to Apple’s iPhone, but all games they created seemed to be too hard, too easy or too boring.
Suddenly, an idea began to form in Lisalo’s head: fat, round birds with big yellow beaks, thick eyebrows and intense, crazed expressions on their faces.
“I didn’t think my idea was that special at the time,” says Lisalo. But he started to work on it.
Two years later, millions of people have the Angry Birds app.
